Character Generator is a free, browser-based creative writing aid. It generates fictional character profiles — personality types, psychology layers, values, speech patterns, and relationship dynamics — to help fiction writers explore and develop characters.

No account is required. No generated output is stored on any server. All computation happens in your browser.

What you own

You own the characters you build with this tool. Generated output may be used freely for any purpose — personal, commercial, published — without attribution. The tool itself, its underlying trait databases, and site design remain the property of the site owner.

Not professional advice

Generated profiles are fictional prompts for creative writing. They are not psychological assessments, clinical diagnoses, or advice of any kind. The personality frameworks referenced (Jungian typology, Big Five, Enneagram, Socionics) are used for creative purposes only.
