Terms of Use
What this tool is
Character Generator is a free, browser-based creative writing aid. It generates fictional character profiles (including personality types, coping patterns, values, speech patterns, and stress responses) to help writers explore and develop characters.
No account is required. No generated output is stored on any server. All computation happens in your browser.
What you own
You own the characters you build with this tool. You can use the generated profiles freely for any purpose (personal, commercial, or published) without attribution. The tool itself, its underlying database, and the site design remain the property of the site owner.
Not professional advice
Generated profiles are fictional prompts for creative writing. They are not psychological assessments, clinical diagnoses, or advice of any kind. The personality frameworks referenced (Jungian typology, Big Five, Enneagram, Socionics) are used for creative purposes only.
No warranties
The tool is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. The site owner makes no guarantee of availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
Acceptable use
You may not use this tool to generate content that defames or harasses real people, or for any purpose that violates applicable law. The site owner reserves the right to restrict access to this tool if these Terms are violated.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site owner is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this tool or reliance on its output.
Changes
These terms may be updated at any time. The “Last updated” date at the bottom of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the tool after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer located in another EU member state, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions of your home country’s law that cannot be waived by contract.
